CRYPTANTHUS - EARTH STAR

Resembling some marine creature more likely to be found in a coral reef, Cryptanthus are an unusual, technicolor addition to any collection! A member of the Bromeliad family, they want plenty of bright, indirect light but can handle some temporary direct sun. The more light they get, the more vibrant their colors! While Cryptanthus prefer to remain just slightly damp, they're very resilient and do just fine if their soil is allowed to dry out between waterings. Just wait for the flowers!
